East La Penitence man charged and remanded over armed robbery of Qualfon employees

The charges read that on May 12th at La Penitence, being armed with a handgun, the man robbed Jennifer Haynes, Candasy Cole, Shumaine David,Mark McLoud,Penincia Facy, Jamal Gonsalves, Damale Victory, Randy Jordan, Akeem Taylor, Tamika Hangover, Nekita ward of several items including a gold chain, hand bags,cell phones and pampers.

East La Penitence man charged and remanded over armed robbery of Qualfon employees

An East La Penitence man was on Monday remanded to prison by Magistrate Judy Latchman, after he was charged for 11 counts of armed robbery.

29-year-old, Quincy Clark, stood before the court and entered plea of not guilty each of the 11 charges.

The charges read that on May 12th at La Penitence, being armed with a handgun, the man robbed Jennifer Haynes, Candasy Cole, Shumaine David,Mark McLoud,Penincia Facy, Jamal Gonsalves, Damale Victory, Randy Jordan, Akeem Taylor, Tamika Hangover, Nekita ward of several items including a gold chain, hand bags,cell phones and pampers.

All together, the stolen items carry a cost of $525,000.

According to the Police report, on the day in question, the accused was waited at the regular stopping point for a bus that transports workers of the Qualfon company.

When the bus made the scheduled stop, the man allegedly held everyone at gunpoint and relieved them of their belongings.

Bail was rejected and the East La Penitence man will make his next court appearance on June 12th.
