According to media reports out of Grenada, the elderly man was arrested on Saturday at the Maurice Bishop International Airport.

Police in Grenada have a seventy-year old Guyanese national in custody assisting with investigations after a large quantity of cocaine was found stashed under the seat of his motorized wheel chair.

According to media reports out of Grenada, the elderly man was arrested on Saturday at the Maurice Bishop International Airport.

At the time of the discovery he was awaiting the boarding of an outbound Air Canada flight to Toronto. His name has not been released, but the investigations are ongoing.

The cocaine was found wrapped in plastic and fastened between the sponge of the seat of the motorized wheelchair.
