A Hadfield Street man was today remanded to jail after he was charged for discharging a loaded firearm at his friend.
22-year-old, Osafo Swade, stood before the Chief Magistrate and denied the charge that was laid against him.
The charge stated that on the 26th July in Georgetown, he discharged a loaded firearm at his friend, Hubert Blair.
The two have been friends for over five years.
Blair was injured by the gunshots and remains a patient at a city hospital.
The weapon is still to be located.
The Police Prosecutor objected to bail and Swade was immediately remanded to prison until his next court appearance which will be on August 18, 2017.
