31-year-old Daniel James was first charged in April and had been placed on bail. He allegedly communicated with the teenager via social media in December and January with the intentions of engaging her for sexual favours and activity.

A Taxi Driver will spend the next 3 years behind bars, after he was found guilty by the Chief Magistrate of sexually grooming a 15-year-old girl.

31-year-old Daniel James was first charged in April and had been placed on bail.

He reportedly communicated with the teenager via social media in December and January with the intention of engaging her for sexual favours and activity.

James allegedly knew that the child was underage but communicated with her.

It was on the January 18th, that he made arrangements to have sex with the teen, but the Police intervened around 11:45 in the morning on a school day. The two were found in the man’s car at the Kingston seawall.

He was immediately arrested and charged. His three year sentence begins immediately.
