A brother and sister from the Soesdyke area are among three persons in custody following an operation by the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit that unearthed a large quantity of cocaine.
According to a late night statement from CANU on Friday, the raid took place at several locations in the Soesdyke area on Friday afternoon.
In addition to the more than 10 pounds of cocaine that was seized, CANU agents also seized several vehicles and a quantity of cash. A full investigation is underway.
CANU has been stepping up its probe of suspected drug traffickers and other major players in the drug trade.
Last year the law enforcement agency effected a number of busts in different parts of the country.
