A 28-year-old mini bus conductor identified as Kevon George, was stabbed to death early Sunday morning in an East Coast Demerara village.

In what is turning out to be a bloody holiday weekend, Police investigators have found themselves probing yet another murder.

A 28-year-old mini bus conductor identified as Kevon George, was stabbed to death early Sunday morning in an East Coast Demerara village.

According to a Police statement, it was just after 7:30 am on Sunday that George got into a heated argument with another man. During the argument, the man pulled out a knife and stabbed the 28-year-old to the neck. He collapsed and his body remained at the scene for over an hour.

He was officially pronounced dead at the Georgetown Hospital.

The suspect has since been arrested by Police and will face murder charges in the new week.
