Biker loses arm in Norton Street crash

A biker lost one of his arms in a gruesome Norton Street accident on Monday night and Doctors at the Georgetown Hospital were busy trying to save his life. The accident occurred just after 10 pm.

The biker who was identified as 24-year-old Kevin Griffith of North Ruimveldt, reportedly lost control of his black CBR motorcycle bearing registration number CE 3919 and slammed into two parked motor cars.

So great was the impact that the motorcycle was broken into two and one of the biker’s arms was ripped from his body and ended up in the car.

The Guyana Fire Service and the Guyana Police Force both arrived on the scene to render assistance but the biker was taken to the hospital and his severed arm was left at the accident scene.
