The results of the National Grade Six Assessment (NGSA) written on April 27 and 28, 2016 will be released to schools early next week.

The Ministry of Education announced today the NGSA results be released on Tuesday, July 5, 2016.

In the statement, the Ministry pointed out that the National Grade Six Assessment was written more than three weeks later than the previous years.

The Ministry had extended the dates to allow teachers sufficient time to complete the Grade 6 curriculum and give students additional time within which to prepare for the Assessments.

More than 14,000 students wrote the 2016 NGSA exams. Chief Education Officer Olato Sam had told News Source on Tuesday that the Ministry was in the process of finalizing the report.
