Police investigators are probing the murder of a Cummings Lodge woman. The 48-year-old woman has been identified as Anita Mohan. She was found badly beaten and stabbed to death early last evening in her Cummings Lodge home.
Her son made the discovery when he returned home from work.
The woman may have been dead for hours when her body was discovered. She was a vendor.
The house was reportedly ransacked and investigators are probing to see if she may have come face to face with an intruder or intruders.
She was not known to have any problem with anyone in the area, although there are reports that she may have been threatened by someone about three weeks ago.
Investigators are seeking the public’s help for any information regarding the murder of Anita Mohan of 315 South East Cummings lodge.
