The Court heard that the three, acting together, murdered Pawan Chandradeo, Naresh Rooplall and Jaikarran Chandradeo whose bodies were found at Cookrite Savannah Backdam, Mibicuri last month.

The accused were remanded to prison until September 6, 2016.

Acting Police Commissioner, David Ramnarine, told the media on Friday last that when the details of the triple murder are revealed in court, persons will be left in shock and disbelief.

According to sources familiar with the investigations, the three men admitted that it was the 18-year-old who used his father’s gun to shoot the three family members including a 15-year-old, to death at point blank range.

He reportedly did so after his father instructed him to take the lives of the three who were on a fishing trip and reportedly may have witnessed an attempt by the assailants to steal fuel belonging to a farmer in the area.

The dead men may have recognised the fuel thieves and were hunted down and shot to the head during their bid to escape.
