The Court was told that on June 15, 2017 at Mabaruma, the two men broke into the dwelling place of their employer, James Campbell and carted off 3 Gold Rings, 2 Gold Chains, 1 Gold Band, 40 cartons of cigarettes, ninety $500 Digicel phone cards and $1.6 Million in Cash.

Two fish vendors found themselves in deep trouble on Wednesday, when they appeared before a city Magistrate, charged with stealing property from a businessman.

The two men, 46-year-old, Keon Allicock and his 19-year-old employee, Leon Singh, were slapped with multiple break and entering charges when they appeared in court, but they pleaded not guilty to all of the charges.

The Court was told that on June 15, 2017 at Mabaruma, the two men broke into the dwelling place of businessman, James Campbell and carted off 3 Gold Rings, 2 Gold Chains, 1 Gold Band, 40 cartons of cigarettes, ninety $500 Digicel phone cards and $1.6 Million in Cash.

The heist totaled over $2 million.  All of the items were found in the apartment where the two men reside.

The Prosecutor did not object to bail and the Magistrate granted bail in the sum of $250,000 each.  They will make their next court appearance on August 22, 2017 in Mabaruma.
