Guyhoc woman wanted for posting cocaine saturated hammocks

Just when you thought you have heard and seen it all when it comes to the efforts of Guyanese to send cocaine out of the country, the latest drug bust by the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit may prove to be a new swing in the drug trafficking arena.

On Monday, CANU announced that it is seeking the whereabouts of 26-year-old, Guyhoc resident, Tiffini Collison.

She is wanted for questioning after she posted 4 hammocks that were saturated in cocaine to an address in the United States, through an international courier service.

The bust was made last Thursday after the woman had already completed the transaction for postage. The suspicious package was discovered by a CANU rank at the Eugene Correia International Airport at Ogle.

CANU has reportedly made several efforts to make contact with the woman, but she has not been seen at her Guyhoc home since the bust.

The drug enforcement agency now wants anyone who may know her whereabouts to contact its investigators on telephone number, 226-0431.

The agency today released a photograph of the woman, which was grabbed from surveillance video and a photograph of the cocaine saturated hammocks.
