Police investigators are still on the hunt for a man believed to be from the Soesdyke area who on Friday night brutally stabbed another man to death at a shack at Soesdyke on the East Bank Demerara.

According to the police, t about 7pm on Friday July 12, 2013, Kevin Harrison, 24 years, of Ideal Road, Soesdyke, EBD, was fatally stabbed to his back by another man during an argument at Soesdyke.

It remains unclear what may have led to the heated argument. The suspect escaped just after the incident and remains in hiding. Police sources have said they have been provided with some information about the suspect in the matter.

Investigations continue.
