Police investigators have arrested a husband and wife from the Mocha Arcadia community after prison escapee, Shawn Harris, was nabbed hiding out in the bottom flat of their two-storey house.
The prison escapee was arrested without incident and the husband and wife who were found in the upper flat were also arrested on suspicion of harbouring the fugitive.
Harris was one of thirteen prisoners to dig their way out of the Lusignan Prison compound last weekend. Eleven of those Lusignan prisoners have since been recaptured and one was shot dead yesterday during an armed confrontation with the joint services.
The only Lusignan escapee still on the run is Paul Goriah.
Shawn Harris was behind bars awaiting a murder trial and a number of robbery trials, when he escaped.
There are still three escapees from the Camp Street jail who remain on the run also. The three are Royden Williams, Uree Varsyck and Cobena Stephens. They escaped from the Camp Street jail more than three weeks ago.
