Murder of Domino Club President baffles Police

Investigators are stumped by the Sunday night murder of President of the Georgetown Dominoes Association, Orin Joseph.  The 52-year-old man was shot dead just in front of his house during a black out.

Initial reports suggested that the murder may have been part of a robbery attempt gone bad but police investigators are looking at several other possible links.

Persons living in the area said they heard several shots outside the man’s South Ruimveldt home. One woman in the area said she was shaken and was forced to run for cover in her some since the gunshots were so loud she felt as if her home was under attack.

The Police today said Joseph died while receiving medical attention in the Emergency unit of the Georgetown hospital.
