Police investigators are hunting for at least two gunmen who shot a sales representative dead and escaped with a bag of cash.
The Sales Representative attached to the distribution company, Patsan Trading was shot multiple times to his body on Thursday afternoon during a brazen robbery at the company’s John Street, Campbellville location.
He has been identified as Bharrat Ramjattan.
There are reports that the man had just returned to the location when he was attacked from behind and gunshots rang out. When the gunshots ended and the gunmen escaped, the man’s body was found in a pool of blood. He was rushed to a city hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
The two bandits reportedly escaped on a motorcycle. Police investigators were late Thursday afternoon reviewing surveillance video recording which may have captured images of the two men.
