Three men who are suspected to have carried out a mid afternoon heist at the AH&L Kissoon outlet on Main Street on Friday have been arrested.

According to a police report, just before 3:00pm on Friday, three men armed with handguns entered the AH&L Outlet at Main Street, Georgetown, and held up the supervisor, a clerk and a customer and took away an undisclosed sum of cash and two cell phones and escaped in a motor vehicle.

“Police anti-crime patrols responded to the report and the motor vehicle was later intercepted in Middle Street, Georgetown, with three men inside who matched the descriptions of the perpetrators of the armed robbery”, the police statement said.

The men are in police custody assisting with the investigations. Charges could be filed against them early in the new week.
