Police uncover stolen cars and car parts during Kuru Kururu and Vryheid’s Lust raids

In a statement this morning, the Police Force said during the raid of a property in Kuru Kururu,  a quantity of vehicle parts and several vehicles suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained, were found.

In a major breakthrough, Police ranks from A’ Division traveled to Monument Hill at Kuru Kururu on the Linden Soesdyke highway and found several stolen vehicles and vehicle parts with engraved registration numbers.

Over the past few months, there has been a surge in cases of carjackings and vehicles being stolen. Just recently, members of a car stealing ring were busted.

In a statement this morning, the Police Force said during the raid of a property in Kuru Kururu,  a quantity of vehicle parts and several vehicles suspected to have been stolen or unlawfully obtained, were found.

They have since been lodged at the Timehri Police Station.

Five persons including an ex-policeman and four females have been taken into custody and are assisting with the investigation.

Meanwhile,ranks of the Force’s Major Crimes Unit last night also arrested a couple at their Vryheid’s Lust North ,ECD home after a quantity of Allion,Premio and Spacio parts with engraved numbers, were found on their premises.

Investigations are in progress.
