Seven persons in custody after M15 find
Seven men remain in the custody of the Guyana Police Force after a high powered M-15 rifle was found in  a motor vehicle that they were travelling in on Wednesday night.
The police also found thirty .223 rounds when they carried out their search of the vehicle. The gun bust was made on Sussex Street in the city when a mobile police patrol pulled the men over.
News Source understands that at least four of the men are related and one of them is believed to be a businessman. Sources close to the investigation told News Source that the men were being grilled about where they acquired the weapon.
Senior police officers have also been meeting on the issue on Thursday. The investigation is ongoing.
