The main suspect in the stabbing and chopping death of vendor Janice Paul has been beaten to death by a group of vigilantes and now police investigators are trying to track down some of those persons.
The dead man has been identified as Jerry Dalrymple. He was fingered in the brutal Wednesday night stabbing death of the vendor just after she arrived home. Her husband was also attacked by survived his injuries.
Dalrymple reportedly once lived next to the couple and had regular disagreements with them.
According to reports, he was spotted in the area on Friday night and residents cornered him and started to viciously beat him over the woman’s murder.
He was eventually taken to the police who were forced to drop him at the Georgetown Hospital because of his injuries. At the Georgetown Hospital, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
One man has been held for questioning in connection with the beating death of the murder suspect. The police intends to question other persons.
