Seventeen – year - old motorcyclist Travis Bollers was killed and cousin, Quacy McAlman injured along Sheriff Street; adding to two other deadly accidents that claimed the lives of three persons on Thursday.

Police are on the hunt for the driver of a white Tacoma vehicle who is alleged to have caused the death of a teenager and injuring another during a late night hit and run on Thursday.

Seventeen – year – old motorcyclist Travis Bollers was killed and cousin, Quacy McAlman injured along Sheriff Street; adding to two other deadly accidents that claimed the lives of three persons on Thursday.

Bollers’ older brother related that the teen was riding along Sheriff Street at about 11:00pm when the Tacoma exited Pike Street and collided with the motorcycle. The two young men were pitched off the motorcycle and landed in the vicinity of GR Taxi Service.

According to reports, the driver came out of his vehicle, looked at the two injured young men and then proceeded to drive away.

Bollers sustained a head injury and subsequently died while receiving medical attention at a city hospital. The cousin sustained minor injuries.

Relatives and friends of the Bollers have taken to Facebook asking for anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of the driver to come forward.

Persons can contact Bollers’ brother, Eon Bollers on 672-4695 or the nearest police station. Yesterday morning, two other persons were killed in a crash along the East Bank of Demerara while an elderly man was killed in another accident in Region six.
