West Demerara Pastor and Friend die in Suriname accident

Reports out of Suriname about the crash have been sketchy, but News Source understands the two were on their way to the Surinamese capital this morning, when their car, PVV 3080, collided with a truck that was heading in the opposite direction. 

West Demerara Pastor and Friend die in Suriname accident

A pastor from the West Coast of Demerara and one of his friends were killed in a vehicle smash up in neighbouring Suriname as they made their way to the capital, Parimaribo.

One of the dead men has been identified as Apostle Patrick Tulsie of the Stream of Living Water Fellowship Church of Cornelia Ida, West Coast Demerara.

The other accident victim has not been identified but is believed to be a friend of the Apostle, who was visiting from the United States. He is also believed to be a pastor.

The car spun out of control and toppled several times before coming to a stop at the side of the roadway.

The two men were pulled from the mangled wreck, but were both pronounced dead on the spot.

Surinamese Police are probing the incident.
