Hours after an arrest warrant was issued for her, beautician Onika Pompey made her way to the Magistrates’ Court and was charged for assault, stemming from a street altercation that she had with make-up artist Lolita Callendar aka Lola.

Callendar was charged this morning in connection with the same case and secured bail.

During her brief appearance this afternoon, Pompey entered a not guilty plea to the charge that on the 6th April, she assaulted Callendar at Leopold Street.

The Prosecutor did not object to bail and Pompey was granted bail in the sum of $80,000. Both women are to return to Court on Tuesday.

The Prosecutor told the Court that the two charges will now be merged into the one matter.
