Soulful Jamaica reggae singer, Romain Virgo will return to Guyana later this year instead of on August 15 for the Miss Jamzone International Beach pageant. The organisers announced late last week that due to unforeseen circumstances, they were forced to cancel his appearance at the event.
The 26-year-old singer performed in Guyana for the first time in January of this year alongside reggae icon, Beres Hammond.
Romain Virgo said he is very disappointed that he will not be in Guyana for the Jamzone pageant and beach event.
He is known for a number of original reggae hits including Star Across the Sky and Beautiful. He is also well known for his rendition of Sam Smith’s “Stay with me” and Adele’s “Don’t you remember”.
