GTT establishes new business units to better serve customers

The new CEO of GTT has announced a decision to reorganize the management of the company, setting up four business units that will each have their own Chief Operations Officer.

The four units will cover Home and Fixed Service, Mobile Services, Business Solutions, and Mobile Money.

GTT’s new CEO Damian Blackburn who has been on the job for just over a month today said the organization will be looking to better meet the needs of customers and the country as a whole.

“The new organisation structure and leaders will mean that we have a laser-like focus on implementing our plans to meet the needs of our different customer groups. In the short time that I have been leading GTT, I have been amazed at the passion, dedication, and ingenuity of those working here, and this gives me confidence that we will rapidly evolve to fulfill our mission,” Blackburn told reporters on Thursday.

He said the company will be continuing with its “Together We Rise” campaign theme to push community and customer relations.

Mr. Blackburn also announced today that moves will be undertaken to engage the government and other stakeholders in the housing sector as it seeks to meet growing demands.

The CEO said he has spent the last few weeks since taking over the position listening to the concerns of customers.

Those concerns will be addressed.  He also announced a decision to hire additional customer service agents to boost the company’s response to the needs of customers.
