Two East Coast Demerara men are in custody and are expected to face murder charges early in the new week in connection with the death of 17-year-old taxi driver, Dhanraj Latchman.
The body of the young man who is also from the Lusignan area was found on Friday evening in the Parika Backdam.
He was last seen on Wednesday when the two men hired him to take them to Parika. His parents said he never returned home and they eventually located the two men who claim they did not know his whereabouts although his car was found abandoned.
Police are continuing their investigations.
