A resident of Ann’s Grove, who was recently nabbed with over 14 pounds of Marijuana on a public bus, was immediately remanded to prison after he made his first appearance in Court.
40-year-old Keno Argyle denied the allegations after the charge was read to him by the acting Chief Magistrate.
The Court heard that on the 23rd March at 70 Mile Barama, the man was found with 6,643 grams of marijuana in his possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The Police Prosecutor objected to bail based since the accused has another similar matter before the Courts.
Bail was refused and the accused has been remanded to jail until April 25, when his matter will continue.
