Police on Wednesday issued a wanted bulletin for Anthony Jhaggroo for questioning in relation to his escape from lawful custody and murder committed on Yugeshwar Shiwcharan earlier this month at Belle West Housing Scheme, West Bank Demerara.
Thirty one- year-old Shiwcharan, called “Sharukh Khan” died following a beating he received from a family when he was found in their yard.
The wanted man’s female siblings and mother were also arrested for the murder.
Police said Jhaggroo is of East Indian decent, fair in complexion and is thinly built.
His last known address is 35 Goed Intent, West Bank Demerara.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Anthony Jhaggroo is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 225-2227, 225-8196, 268-2343, 268-2298, 268-2222, 911 or the nearest police station.
Police said all information will be treated with strict confidence.
