The Guyana Police Force is reporting that the post-mortem examination on the body of the man who was found late Saturday night on an East Coast road, has found that his injuries are consistent with a vehicular accident. 

The 20-year-old  Hemchand Dalchand, was last seen by loved ones early Saturday night when he left his Cummings Lodge home in the company of a group of friends to attend an event at the Ogle ground.

When his body was found at the side of the Oleander Gardens public road, his shirt and slippers were missing.

Although the PME has ruled the injuries to be that of an accident victim, it is still carrying out several probes. Investigators believe he could have been deliberately mowed down by a vehicle. There are reports that two persons are in custody.
