The businessman whipped out his firearm after he was shot by one of the men and he opened fire on the group, hitting one of them as they dashed from the house. The incident took place just after 6:30pm Monday just after the businessman returned home.

Georgetown businessman, Nicolas Coates, managed to shoot one of five bandits who entered his Bel Air home last evening.

The businessman whipped out his firearm after he was shot by one of the men and he opened fire on the group, hitting one of them as they dashed from the house. The incident took place just after 6:30pm Monday just after the businessman returned home.

According to police sources, the 29-year-old Coates was sitting on his verandah when he noticed the men barging into his house through an open door. He was shot to the knee while he ran to his bedroom.

The businessman was able to close the door and locate his firearm and he opened fire on the bandits.

The men dashed from the house after one of them was shot.

The businessman’s relatives have complained about the sloth of the Police Force in responding to the incident. They said the emergency 911 number was called several times but there was no response.

Investigations are continuing.
