Investigators of the Police Force’s Narcotics Branch are questioning a 24-year-old West Coast Bernice woman after she was busted with just over 10 pound of cocaine yesterday at the Cheddi Jagan Airport.

Meanwhile, on March 25, a Guyanese man was held at the JFK Airport in New York after he arrived there on a Caribbean airlines flight with over two pounds of cocaine in the false bottom of his suitcases.

The man has been been identified as Alfred Kevin Quincy Johnson.

He has since been charged for trafficking of cocaine into the United States.  He is currently behind bars in the New York area.
