Canadian resident busted with cocaine in milk and seasoning at CJIA

A 54-year-old Berbice man who lives in Canada was busted at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport early on Friday morning with a large quantity of cocaine contained in tins of milk powder and in bottles of seasoning.

The man was an outgoing passenger on a Caribbean Airlines flight to Toronto when agents of the Customs Anti Narcotics Unit carried out the bust at the airport.

The quantity of the cocaine discovered has not been ascertained as yet, as the investigators are continuing their probe.
