Longtime broadcaster and founder of the Justice for All Party, CN Sharma is back home after recovering from COVID-19 and being discharged from the Intensive Care Unit of the COVID-19 Hospital at Lillendaal.

Mr. Sharma spent three weeks in the hospital after encountering breathing problems a few days after he was tested positive for COVID-19 back in September.

He was fully vaccinated against the virus and spent a number of days in the Intensive Care Unit of the Hospital being nursed back to health.

His wife, Savitri Singh told News Source this morning that he is back home and recovering well. She said he still requires some oxygen from time to time but is being weaned off of it as his condition has been improving steadily.

The family has extended their thanks to the healthcare workers at the hospital for the care that was provided to Mr. Sharma over the three weeks that he was a patient.

In the past four months, Guyana has seen a spike in COVID-19 cases and deaths as the virus continues its spread across the country.
