Family members of the young Sarah Johanna village husband and wife who were found dead in their home this morning are baffled by the deaths.

The bodies of Nicholas and Sasha Low A Chee were both found with bullet wounds. A relative who assisted in identifying the bodies said the woman was shot to her chest while the husband was shot to his side. The house did not appear to be ransacked.

The dead woman’s father, Ricky Dass, said he last spoke to his daughter Sasha on Sunday afternoon when he called the home. He said she did not complain of any issue and told him that she was preparing BBQ in the yard.

The grieving father said that was the last time he heard his daughter’s voice.

He said the last time he saw the couple was on New Year’s Day on Saturday after they celebrated the start of the new year with family and friends and left for their home.

The family members who gathered at the scene said they did not want to speculate about the deaths, but would prefer to get information from the investigations. They admitted that not much information was being shared with them.

Another relative who did not want to be identified said the couple appeared happy and good on New Year’s Day and there was nothing strange seen.

Police investigators suspect the deaths occurred more than 24hours before the bodies were discovered.
