Friends die in Timehri smash-up

The dead young men were identified as 24-year-old Pastal Dainty and 32-year-old Delon Whitehead. A third young man has been hospitalized with serious injuries.

Friends die in Timehri smash-up

Two families have been plunged into mourning after the tragic Saturday night accident that claimed the lives of two young airport security agents.

The dead young men were identified as 24-year-old Pastal Dainty and 32-year-old Delon Whitehead.  A third young man has been hospitalized with serious injuries.

The Police report said the car which was being driven by Pastal Dainty was proceeding along the Timehri Public Road when the he lost control. The vehicle spun off of the main road and crashed into two power poles before flipping over several times.

The three men were rushed to the Georgetown Hospital, where two of them were pronounced dead on arrival while the third was admitted to intensive care.

The three young men have been working for a number of years with a private airline security company attached to the Cheddi Jagan Airport.  Shocked friends have described them as fun loving and smart young men who will be missed.
