Two years after he was shot in Guyana during a visit, a US based Guyanese man was found stabbed to death in his Brooklyn apartment.

The man, Otis James, was left confined to a wheelchair after he was shot in Guyana just after arriving here in 2016 on vacation.

On Tuesday afternoon, his  wife and daughter found his lifeless body in their Central Ave., Bushwick apartment.

According to the NY Daily News, James worked as an MTA bus driver for several years but retired following his injury in Guyana.

“His daughter was screaming, ‘My dad! My dad!’ a friend said. “It was awful.”

Police brought James’ sobbing wife and daughter out the home, near Cornelia Ave. as they investigated.

A knife was found by his body, police sources said.

The city medical examiner’s office will determine how he died, but detectives believe he was murdered, sources said.
