Police investigators are hunting a suspect in an early morning stabbing  death at Plaisance line top today. 

According to a Police statement, Detectives in Division ‘C’ are investigating the murder of 28-year-old Orrette West of Guyhoc Park.

The man who was a bodywork technician, was hanging out with his girlfriend just after midnight when he was brutally stabbed to death. 

“Investigation so far revealed that deceased was in company of his girlfriend, when an argument ensued between the deceased and an unidentified assailant over a fight they had some time ago. As a result the assailant pulled out a knife and fatally stabbed the deceased in the region of his left side chest and escape”, the Police statement said. 

 The suspect has not yet been arrested.
