High Court trial for woman accused of stabbing husband to death

The woman is accused of stabbing her husband, Dailson Halley to death during a row. She has claimed that she did so to stop him from abusing her. The two had reportedly shared a rocky relationship and the woman told investigators that on the day in question, her husband was armed with the knife and she managed to wrestle it away from him.

High Court trial for woman accused of stabbing husband to death

22-year-old, Lisa Halley will have to stand a High Court trial for the stabbing death of her husband.

She will face the manslaughter charge before a Judge and Jury.

The incident took place back in 2017 and today Magistrate Leron Daly ruled that a strong enough case had been made out against the woman for the matter to be moved to the High Court.
