Immigration Dept. advises citizens to use Passport Office in their areas

In a statement, the Police Force said in keeping with the established Covid-19 guidelines in the country, the Central Immigration and Passport Office at Camp Street, Georgetown, "will be providing services to a total of one hundred (100) persons only on a daily basis (working days between Monday and Friday) until further notice".

The Central Immigration and Passport Office is asking persons to visit the passport offices in their community and avoid heading to the main office in Georgetown.

In a statement, the Police Force said in keeping with the established Covid-19 guidelines in the country, the Central Immigration and Passport Office at Camp Street, Georgetown, “will be providing services to a total of one hundred (100) persons only on a daily basis (working days between Monday and Friday) until further notice”.

According to the statement, fifty persons will be processed commencing at 07:00hrs and another fifty persons will be processed at 11:30hrs.

A number system will be in effect.

The Passport Office reminded that in addition to the Georgetown location, there are locations in New Amsterdam and Linden where persons can make applications and uplift their new passports.
