Months after an attempt was made on his life, a Kitty man was shot dead in Sophia on Saturday night by two gunmen.
27-year-old Seon London aka “Gaza” was sitting with a friend outside a yard in C’ Field Sophia when the two gunmen, both armed with handguns, appeared and started shooting at him. The friend quickly dived to the ground while London’s body was riddled with bullets.
He was rushed to the Georgetown Hospital where doctors pronounced him dead.
The man was in the area with his girlfriend to visit the friend when the shooting occurred. The girlfriend was not around at the time of the shooting.
Police investigators believe the two suspects are from the Sophia community and they have so far identified one of them as a resident of D’ Field.
One of the same suspects now wanted for his murder had reportedly opened fire on London back in May. He was hospitalised for several weeks. Two suspects were also involved in that shooting. One of the men was charged and has since been in prison while the other one, has been on the run since that time.
The investigations are ongoing.
