Police investigators were called to the scene of yet another murder this morning.

32-year-old labourer Israel McKenzie was found stabbed to death this morning at Second Street, La Penitence.

McKenzie was reportedly in an intoxicated state walking home from an event when he was attacked by two men at around 3:30 this morning.

The body bore stab wounds to the chest.

McKenzie was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

News Source understands that McKenzie lives in the same LaPenitence area and had earlier had cause to warn some youths in the community following a break in at his home.
