Man stabbed to death during drunken cricket row
The police are investigating the murder of 58-year-old Edward Williams of Lima Sands, Essequibo Coast, which occurred on Sunday June 01, 2014, at Anna Regina Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast.
Investigations have revealed that Edward Williams was among a group of men imbibing, when an argument developed about the game of cricket. The argument became heated and the man was stabbed several times to his body. He succumbed while receiving medical attention at the Suddie Hospital.
The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
