A man who travelled from Guyana was arrested on Sunday at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston, Jamaica following the discovery of cocaine pellets in his body.

Reports are that the man, who had just disembarked the flight from Guyana, was observed acting in a manner that aroused the suspicion of the police.  

The lawmen accosted him and he admitted to having ingested cocaine pellets.

He was taken to a Kingston hospital where he expelled forty-four pellets of cocaine weighing approximate one pound.

His name has not been released by the will be facing cocaine possession and trafficking charges in Jamaica before the end of this week.
