Police investigators rushed to the North Sophia area just before 10 o’ clock on Sunday night following a shooting that left one man dead and another man injured.
The dead man has been identified as Colin Kendall aka “Bow”. He was pronounced dead at the Georgetown Hospital after he was rushed there by friends. Another man who police have only identified as Keith, was injured in the shooting and is nursing gunshot wounds in a city hospital.
According to a report from the police, “Bow” and a group of men were under a shed in the North Sophia area when a car drove up and a man who was armed with a single gun, exited the car and discharged several shots.
“Colin Kendall called “Bow” of North Sophia was hit about his body and was pronounced DOA at the GPHC. Another man so far identified as “Keith” was hit to his left side and has been admitted to hospital”, the police report said.
The gunman escaped in the waiting motor vehicle. A probe is underway.
