Second suspect charged for murder of Kitty mechanic

Appearing in Court today was 25-year-old Daniel Parris. He was not required to enter a plea to the indictable murder charge and was immediately remanded to prison.

Second suspect charged for murder of Kitty mechanic

A second suspect in the murder of Kitty mechanic Peter Gonsalves was charged today with the man’s murder.

Appearing in Court today was 25-year-old Daniel Parris. He was not required to enter a plea to the indictable murder charge and was immediately remanded to prison.

The Court was told that on the 7th December while in the company of Kacy Heyliger, Parris murdered 60-year-old Peter Gonsalves on Garnett Street in Kitty.

Heyliger was earlier charged for the same murder.

The two men are accused of ambushing the elderly man as he rode his motorcycle along Garnett Street. He was attacked and shot multiple times before the two men escaped with the motorcycle.

The two accused are known to the Police and have faced other serious charges in the Court including robbery underarms.
