Months after over $3M in cash and cheques went missing from a local company, three security guards attached to Massy Securities, have been charged in connection with the heist.

50-year-old Patterson Clarence, 48-year-old Cosmo Chichester and 43-year-old Shawn Goodluck, all stood before Principal Magistrate, Judy Latchman and denied the allegation made against them.

The Court heard that on the 13th, November at Charlotte and Oronoque Streets, they stole $1M in Cash and $2.1M in cheques, property of Murex Company.

It was alleged that on day in question the men uplifted the money from the business place around 4pm.

A report was made to the Police when the company was told that the men had misplaced the money.  An investigation was launched and the three were recently arrested.

They were released on $200,000 bail each today and ordered to report back to Court in another few weeks.
