Police investigators in Berbice have arrested a 28-year-old Corentyne man after a search of his home unearthed an unlicensed 9mm pistol with live rounds and three camouflage outfits.
The Police also found five cellphones and two grey hoodies in the house.
The search was conducted early this morning after the Police received information about the items in the house and additional information.
The 28-year-old man was immediately arrested and remains in Police custody.
Meanwhile, two other men in connection with the same raid have been arrested for questioning into several reports of robbery under arms.
