Two die, including male nurse as Ambulance and Car, collide at Amelia’s Ward in Linden

Two persons, including a male nurse, died early this morning as an ambulance and a car slammed head-on into each other in Amelia’s Ward, Linden.

The dead male nurse has been identified as Eon Reddock of Linden. He was the passenger in the ambulance. The ambulance driver has sustained multiple injuries.

The other dead person was the driver of the car and his name has not been released as yet.

According to a Police report, the accident occurred around 3:40 this morning in the vicinity of Obama Drive at Amelia’s Ward Linden along the highway.

The two vehicles were traveling in the opposite direction. The ambulance was returning to Linden from Georgetown after transporting a patient, while the car was traveling in the opposite direction.

It is unclear how the two vehicles ended up in the same lane. But investigators are probing the crash this morning.
