Police investigators in the North West District village of Baramita are on the hunt for a woman who reportedly stabbed her reputed husband to death and fled the scene just after.

Dead is 32-year-old Junior Brandt of Baramita, North West District. Initial reports state that the couple were involved in heated argument when the wife grabbed a knife and repeatedly stabbed the man to his chest. The incident took place early on Tuesday morning. Police investigators were summoned to the scene just before 8 am.

The woman reportedly hustled away from the scene of the incident and has not been seen or heard from since. Her name has not been released by the Police.
