The Guyana Police Force has issued wanted bulletins for three men in connection with the shooting death of two businessmen outside an All Black party in Durban Street. The drive-by shooting, which also left three others injured, took place on the early morning of August 24, 2024.
The Guyana Police Force is now seeking the whereabouts of 31-year-old Keron Hinds, 18-year-old Omalie Vieira and 30-year-old Dominique Osborne. The three murder suspects are from the Lodge and Werk-En-Rust areas.
Investigators are asking for anyone who may have information about their whereabouts to make contact with the closest Police station or call 911.
The Police said the three suspects are wanted for the murder of businessmen, Anthony Havescome and Lawrence Wayne.
The businessmen were with a group of friends standing on the roadside on the morning of August 24 just after attending an All Black party on Durban Street, when a black coloured Toyota car drove pass them and the occupants opened fire.
Havescome was pronounced dead after being rushed to the Georgetown Hospital, Lawrence Wayne died from his injuries the following day. A Police report said both men sustained multiple gunshots to their bodies.
A number of the other persons injured in the shooting incident are known to law enforcement and have had previous brushes with the law.
Among the injured were former murder accused, Teon Allen aka “Spoil Child” who suffered a gunshot wound to his shoulder, and former Policeman Lloyd Roberts, who is nursing gunshot injuries to his chest and hip.

Three years ago, Teon Allen was charged for the murder of his ex-girlfriend in Linden. He was later freed of the murder charge. He was also previously charged in relation to the possession of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
In 2017, Lloyd Roberts was charged and later freed over the shooting death of a 19-year-old outside a Georgetown nightclub. He had also been fingered in a number of other shooting incidents.
Investigators probing the Durban Street drive-by shooting have been following a number of leads.
Eyewitnesses of the shooting incident related to investigators that the party was stopped by a Police patrol at around 5am on the Saturday morning, and while many of the patrons left, others remained and were hanging out just outside the venue.
Eyewitnesses recalled seeing a dark-coloured car pulling up and opening fire on the group of men who were standing on the roadside, leaving many of them injured and on the ground.
The car sped away from the scene and was later found abandoned at Manatee Place in South Ruimveldt.
The car’s registration was traced to a businesswoman, who related to investigators that on the same morning, she was accosted by two armed men on a motorcycle and forced to surrender her car in the same Durban Street area. She said at the time she was heading home with some friends and they were all forced out of the car.
The investigations into the deadly drive-by shooting remain active.
